Our long-time curator, Jay Russell, will be offering speciality tours in 2019. Jay has worked at the Atlas since the 90s and was, famously, a judge on Amazing Race Canada in 2013. Jay will take curious visitors on an hour-long tour which explores parts of the site not normally seen by the public. Each tour will be different, with Jay discussing (and showing visitors!) new discoveries, new stories and some of the conservation activities on site. Pre-booking is required (email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information). Tours happen on Tuesday mornings only from May through September. Children under 6 are not permitted. Good mobility and sturdy, closed-toed footwear is required for this tour.
THE ATLAS is a locally operated, visitor-supported site, with no operational support from any level of government.
