Hours of Operation

We are temporarily closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

May 28:  We are working on our brand new online booking system!  Upon our re-opening (date TBD), we’ll be offering General Admission by pre-booking only.  Jay and Stuart are developing some fresh, ‘no-contact’ tour options which will be available to book later in the summer.  Check back for updates!

Need to get in touch?  We can be reached at info@atlascoalmine.ab.ca

General Admission

***Pre-bookings Only***  We hope to have our booking site live shortly.  Check back for updates.

General admission lets you explore the outside areas of our incredible site!  A true ‘contact-free’ option with excellent space for physical distancing throughout.  Visitor numbers are strictly capped to ensure a safe, exclusive experience for all of our guests in 2020.  We have lots to see: original mine (surface plant) infrastructure, fascinating natural Badlands plants and animals, an informative interpretive trail, and a huge range of mining machinery.

Children aged 5 and under are free.
